Large scale terrorist attack hit London reports July 7 commission
The commission to investigate and review the security arrangements in the wake of the July 7th bombings of London's transport network published their report today concluding that there was a "large scale terrorist attack on London that took place in July 7th." The report also concludes that "security failed to stop the attack."

The attacks on July 7th saw the bombing of several London underground locations and a London bus. Emergency services the shocked the country when they successfully implemented strategies to handle such a situation and coped with the emergency well.

The Conservative leader David Cameron has now called for a commission to investigate the failings of the July 7th commission. They are expected to publish their report in November of this year.

CIA denies terrorist abuse, agents operating in Britain
Washington, United States - the CIA have denied claims that they are flying terrorist suspects into the UK to face torture saying "we do not have any operations in Britain." The statement comes after it was alleged that the CIA were flying terorist suspects into Britain in order to get round human rights laws which apparently don't apply if it's not in America.

"We don't fly terrorists into the UK to get the crap kicked out of them," said John Negroponte, director of national intelligence. "Infact, we don't have any operations in this 'Britain' you speak of, if it even exists. And even if it did, the location of the country is classified. I cannot at this time reveal whether a country by the name of Britain exists or not."

But British politicians are remain sceptical about the statement. "The CIA falsely told us that we would find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq," said Liberal Democrats party leader Charles Kennedy. "And while on a recent good-will mission to the United States I was promised there would be coleslaw but there wasn't, there was only potato salad."

A House of Commons select committee is now investigating the claims but the CIA have so far failed to hand over the request documents as they claim they "have been destroyed in a myserious fire" schedule to take place next Tuesday according to a spokesman for the CIA.
